NZ Competitor Qualification through the 2024 SPARC Series

Background.

The New Zealand Precision Rifle Association (NZPRA) are putting together the criteria for qualification of NZ competitors for the 2025 IPRF 22LR World Championships. Qualification will be via the 2024 SPARC series of matches in the North Island

This following details the qualification and nomination process for competitors using the 2024 SPARC series.

Nomination Path for 2024 SPARC Series Competitors.

The path for competitors to get nominated for the 2025 IPRF 22LR World Champs is generally as follows:

  • The competitor qualifies for nomination via the 2024 SPARC Series (see below).

  • The competitor confirms their ambition and commitment to representing NZ at the 2025 IPRF 22LR World Champs (this is essentially a time, training, sportsmanship, and financial commitment).

  • The SPARC Series nominates the Competitor to NZPRA for consideration and voting.

  • The NZPRA committee votes on the competitor nominations and confirms entries with the IPRF.

It is noted that the 2025 SPARC Series matches will include IPRF representable targets within the Rifleman class as a training aid for the competitors who have their nomination accepted (and for any others wanting the higher difficulty stages).
